Frequently asked questions
The basics of buying and handling research peptides from Midnight Peppers. If you don’t see your question, get in touch.
Are these products intended for human consumption?
No. All products on this site are research compounds intended exclusively for laboratory and research use. They are not foods, drugs, or supplements, and they should not be administered to humans, animals, or any biological subject for therapeutic, diagnostic, or recreational purposes.
What does “research use only” mean?
It means our products are sold for use in vitro or in non-clinical laboratory studies. They are not approved by the FDA or any regulatory body for human or animal use. Researchers are responsible for following all applicable safety protocols and institutional or local guidelines.
Why do you require age and researcher verification?
Research peptides are not consumer products. Confirming that visitors are 18 or older and identify as independent researchers is a baseline measure to keep our products reaching their intended audience. Verification persists for 30 days; you may be re-prompted afterward.
How are peptides shipped?
[VERIFY] Lyophilized peptides are shipped in temperature-controlled packaging via expedited carriers. Tracking is provided after shipment. Orders typically ship within [VERIFY: 1–2 business days] of payment.
What is your return policy?
[VERIFY] Due to the research-grade nature of our products, all sales are final once the product has been shipped. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact support within [VERIFY: 7 days] of receipt and we will make it right.
How long are peptides stable after I receive them?
Most lyophilized peptides remain stable for many months when stored properly. Reconstituted peptides have a much shorter usable window — researchers should consult product-specific guidance and follow accepted handling protocols.
How should I store peptides?
Store unopened lyophilized vials at 2–8 °C (refrigeration) for short-term storage or −20 °C (freezer) for longer-term storage. Avoid temperature cycling. Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, refrigerate and use within the timeframe established for that compound.
What payment methods do you accept?
[VERIFY] We accept major credit cards at checkout. Additional methods such as cryptocurrency or bank transfer may be available — see the checkout step for current options.
Do you ship internationally?
[VERIFY] We ship to most countries that permit research-compound import. Additional documentation may be required at customs depending on destination, and some compounds may not be available in certain regions.
Are these the same as pharmaceutical peptides?
No. Pharmaceutical peptides are produced under GMP standards and dispensed by prescription. Research peptides are produced under research-grade standards. While the molecule itself may be identical, the regulatory pathway, intended use, and supply chain are different.
